JERSEY CITY - Retired Jersey City Police Officer Sam Jefferson, who most recently held the position of Director of Commerce for the city, will be sworn in as Police Director at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the Mary McLeod Bethune Community Center at 140 Martin Luther King Drive.
The ceremony's speaker will be one of the state's highest ranking law enforcement officials, U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie.///
