JERSEY CITY - Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham will celebrate the official opening of the Marbella, the largest residential building in the Garden State during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 425 Washington Boulevard.
The building, which graces the city's Gold Coast, is the newest addition to a growing waterfront business and residential community.
Leasing has begun at the 40-story building, which is being developed by Roseland Property and Garden State Development. The Marbella is comprised on 412 apartments and 5,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
"This is a great addition to the waterfront community, because it provides housing in the city's financial sector which continues to grow and grow," Cunningham said. "This development provides not only housing but the opportunity for retail and other services that are needed downtown."
In addition to luxury housing, the Marbella features a variety of amenities and services, including on-site parking, an outdoor heated swimming pool and terrace, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a business and conference center, a 24-hour concierge and valet services.//////
