JERSEY CITY- Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham will announce his support for
the Reform Democratic ticket and his endorsement of candidates for the
June Democratic primary during an 11 a.m. news conference, Thursday,
April 22, 2004 at City Hall, 280 Grove Street.
Leading the Reform Democratic ticket is Steven Fulop, who is seeking
to become the next Congressman for the 13th District. Fulop is an
executive with Goldman Sachs who gave up his position there following
the attacks on American September 11, 2001 in order to join the U.S.
Marine corps. Fulop served during the war in Iraq and has returned home
to continue to serve his country.
"The scandal riddled days of politics in Hudson County needs to come
to an end. A change is going to come, and Mr. Fulop is a man with proven
values and credentials that can take us there."///
