JERSEY CITY, NJ - Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy, the Municipal Council, and Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise and will attend a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new housing project Bayside Estates/Ocean Bayview Community, at 412 Ocean Avenue, on Monday, May 2nd, at 11 am. Representatives from America’s Dream Homes, Inc., North Stelton Economic Development Corporation, Bank of New York, and the New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency will also be present.

North Stelton Economic Development Corporation rebuilt approximately six lineal blocks of Ocean Avenue. The community consists of detached two family homes, two family town homes, and single family residences. All homes were sold and are now occupied by 43 families.

The homes were financed through the combined efforts of the New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency Moni Program and the Bank of New York. America’s Dream Homes, Inc. was the turnkey contractor and completed the construction in approximately a year. The support of the City of Jersey City was critical in providing the land to North Stelton.
